This is the first post to my new website. I have worked with wordpress in the past so I am not entirely unfamiliar with the process of building a simple portfolio site but it always takes some experimenting before I get it just right. I wanted to take a moment to tlak a little about the one picture I have shot that has perhaps been my most republished. I took the featured image with my first camera, a 350D and a 50mm 1.8 as I was riding a train a few days before Christmas. Alongside me was a Volvo 240 estate with a Christmas tree on it roof and a young man looking out at me.
I do not have may positive memories of riding trains but this is one that I cherish.
